Individualized Hormone Replacement Therapy (IHRT)
Individualized hormone replacement therapy is available from J & D Pharmacy, a compounding pharmacy certified by the American College of Apothecaries. Our pharmacy technicians also have a specialized certification in compounding. J & D TrueCare Pharmacy will work with your physician to create your personalized hormone therapy formula in a state-of-the-art compounding lab.
Women
Each woman receives individualized doses to meet her unique needs. You are unique with your own normal hormone levels. Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and other hormones must be properly balanced for optimum health. Common symptoms of menopause and peri-menopause can include any of the following: Hot flashes/night sweats, disturbed sleep, poor concentration/memory, thinning skin, depression, osteoporosis, slow healing, irregular menstruation, vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, low libido (interest in sex), weight gain. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms individualized hormone replacement therapy may be the answer for you.
Men
Restoring hormone balance may be beneficial for men. Andropause is the key player in male hormonal health and balance.
